Measuring for Curved Bay Window plantation shutters
- Each section of the bay will have it’s own frame, into which the shutters are fitted.
- Ideally, the frames will butt up close together as shown in the measure guide.
- To measure correctly, we strongly recommend you cut out the appropriate templates provided and place them on the sill. Measure as indicated by the arrows.
- When measuring the height, if there are any differences between each section of the bay, try to find a suitable average and order each section to be the same height.
- If you wish to include a mid rail, measure from the sill up to the point you want the middle point of the mid rail to be located.
The diagrams and information provided will help you measure correctly. If you have any questions you can call or email us and we will be happy to help.
If you would like further advice on your actual window, please email a clear digital image to hello@californiashutters.co.uk. Ensure all curtains are moved away from the window and that handles and the full window is in the photo.
